Sous Chef, Bermuda

 Must have proven experience as a Sous Chef or Executive Chef in the restaurant industry;
– must have a minimum of 5 years experience in a busy kitchen environment;
– to be able to fulfill the Executive Chefs duties in his absence;
– to assist the Executive chef with normal daily operations;
– must have experience in all restaurant areas, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, fine dining, & pastry or desserts.
– must have excellent presentation skills;
– must be a team player;
– must be able to remain calm and organized under pressure;
– must be able to fluently speak and write the English language;
– ensures and oversees that all kitchen employees follow all recipes and portion serving correctly;
– assists in training employees to company standards;
– can actively participate as a member of the management team;
– oversees kitchen labor and food cost to budgetary requirements;
– posts and checks all daily invoices upon arrival of goods;
– must be able to have an active role in developing (creating) & implementing daily specials & menu/food ideas;
– must be able to maintain inventory systems as directed by the Executive Chef;
– must have knowledge of basic training techniques;
– must have understanding of proper use and maintenance of major kit
