Technical Support – Level 1, Jamaica


1. Remote Access Installation and Troubleshooting, Application support including but not limited to Windows XP, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, VPN, Firewall, and Antivirus software.

2. Training users on procedures, as well as the use of remote access tools.

3. Providing after-hours phone support for an international Helpdesk on supporting all remote access methods and tools.

4. Administration of authentication tools such as SecurID and Active Directory.

5. Providing support for Office applications such as MS Office, as well as specialized software.

6. Assisting users in troubleshooting Hardware and Software issue in an office environment.

7. Supporting high profile clients such as top level executives and managing directors.

8. Supporting wireless devices such as TREO / Goodlink.


1. Computer Science Degree or Diploma in Computers preferred – Certifications would be considered an asset.

2. Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience required.

3. Extensive knowledge of the following:

* Windows 2000 / XP
* Broadband (DSLCableISDN) & Home Networking
* Active Directory

4. Documentation experience with a minimum of 5 – 10 years business experience.
