Service Technician – Office Equipment, Bermuda

Our Bermuda based client is a recognized leader in the sales and service of office equipment, supplies and business products. They are an authorized dealer for a premier manufacturer of digital copiers and printers, facsimile machines, laser printers, computers and shredders.

They require a fully trained Service Technician to join their expanding service department to support a complete range of business machines. The ideal candidate must demonstrate or possess the following:

2 years or more experience in servicing digital copiers and network connectivity preferred.
A certified diploma in electronics from an industry recognized institute is preferred.
Ability to organize and prioritize work in an efficient manner and work well under stress and time pressure.
Ability to work under minimum supervision, be a self-motivated individual and demonstrate initiative
Willingness to work evenings and weekends upon short notice
The ability and adaptability to enjoy living and working in a unique, sub tropical location, 2.5 hours from Toronto

Compensation will be competitive, based on experience and is nearly completely tax free (only 4.75% tax)! A full range of benefits will also be offered to the successful candidate including relocation assistance, temporary housing and health benefits.

This unique and exciting opportunity involves relocating to the beautiful Island of Bermuda for 2-3 years or longer. As such, highly portable candidates with outside interest that lend themselves to the Island lifestyle are preferred.
