Senior Analyst – Insurance, Cayman

QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate should be a university graduate with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferably in the field of accounting, and/or a professional insurance qualification, through the Chartered Insurance Institute or the North American equivalent. (At least five years of experience in the insurance industry and knowledge of IAIS core principles would be an asset).

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: A thorough understanding of all classes of insurance/reinsurance business is required together with knowledge of international insurance markets. Good communication skills are essential, as the post will require daily contact with a large cross-section of local and foreign executives of the insurance industry as well as Government representatives. Advanced computer literacy skills are also essential.
