Registered Nurse (RN), Puerto Rico

Qualification Requirements:

*PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT – Applicants must have an active, current registration as a professional nurse in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. EXCEPTION: Applicants who have graduated from an approved nursing educational program within the past 12 months may be appointed pending State registration as a professional nurse within 6 months of appointment. No person appointed pending registration may be retained beyond 6 months, or promoted, if registration has not been attained.

*BASIC EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time the program was completed by the applicant. Education equivalent to the type described above is acceptable. Professional registration as defined above meets this requirement.

Licensed Registered Nurse, USVI

Provides all nursing services, identifies patient and family necessities and problems , informs patients’ primary physician and hospice physician of changes with patient. Applies knowledge, abilities and techniques to achieve an
effective services. Demonstrated professional nurse with possession of current license to practice as registered professional nurse. Member of the Professional College of Nurses. At least three years of experience in the nursing practice, driver’s license and vehicle and maintain up to date all continuance educations.
