Lecturer in English Language Foundation Courses, Trinidad

Required Qualifications:
A good first degree (preferably in Linguistics or Language Education) and a postgraduate degree (preferably a Ph.D) in the teaching of academic writing skills in English.

Experience:
Training and experience in the teaching of English language and writing skills at tertiary level to West Indian students, and experience in coordinating education/training programmes. Technical and computer skills an advantage.

Responsibilities:
Teaching, developing innovative and educationally well-grounded materials and coordination of sub-parts of the University’s English Language Foundation Courses.

Personal Attributes:
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a capacity to work collaboratively towards common goals.

LECTURER IN ENGINEERING, TRINIDAD

Qualification
Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering or with specialization in Control Systems.

Experience
Considerable experience in academic teaching.  Demonstrable familiarly with current control systems technology, particularly in Mechatronics and Control Automation including PLC system design and control networks.  A scholarly publication record commensurate with the position.
