Planning Engineer, Jamaica

My client is a major international main contractor with a portfolio of upgrade and improvement projects in Jamaica. It now urgently requires a Planner to undertake all planning duties associated with these projects. Duties will include creating the contract programme, section programmes, monitoring progress to date and the ability to analyse claims for extension of time entitlements. The successful candidate will be suitably Degree educated, show similar extensive planning experience with a stable employment record for named main contractors. In addition, the ability to use Pertmaster or Primavera planning packages is a necessity. In return, my client offers an excellent remuneration and package.   • A strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Visio, Word and Excel)
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and Flash. Ability to do ActionScript is an asset
  • Understanding of site architecture, user experience, compression methods and techniques, etc.
  • Ability to edit existing JavaScript, VB Script, XML, Coldfusion and ASP code. Ability to do ASP programming is an asset
  • 3 years work experience
  • Comfort level working in a PC environment
